How To Flash Xiaomi Mix 2S Firmware?
Prerequisites:
- Battery charge: Charge your device to at least 60%
- Correct firmware file: You need to download an official firmware file for your device model.
- Xiaomi Flash Tool: Download the Xiaomi devices flash tool from https://xiaomiflashtool.com/

Steps To Install Fastboot Rom:
Download Xiaomi Mix 2s official firmware update file on your smartphone and follow the instructions below: –
Step 1: Download the flash file from the official links and extract the zip files on your computer.
Step 2: On your PC, install the given USB Driver and Xiaomi Flash Tools; if you have already done so, go to the following step.
Step 3: Now, to boot into the fastboot mode, turn off your phone, press the volume down, and Power buttons together for some time.
Step 4: Connect your Xiaomi Mix 2s smartphone to your PC using a USB cable.
Step 5: Go to the Xiaomi Flash Tool and open it.
Step 6: Select the extracted zip stock firmware with the flash tool.
Step 7: To recognize your Xiaomi smartphone, use the Refresh button.
Step 8: To begin the flashing process, click the Flash button.
Step 9: Please be patient, as the flashing procedure will most likely take some time, and your device may reboot a few times.
Step 10: When the flashing procedure is over, the Success Notification will appear in the Xiaomi Flash Tool.
Steps To Install Recovery Rom
Step 1 – First, download and transfer the ROM zip to your Mi Mix 2s internal storage.
Step 2 – Press the Power button and Volume down button together to boot into TWRP recovery.
Step 3 – Now, Swipe to Allow Modifications after rebooting your phone into TWRP Recovery. (If you’re opening the recovery for the first time)
Step 4 – Using TWRP, create a full backup of the stock or custom ROM to restore the system if anything goes wrong during the ROM flashing.
Step 5 – Before installing the Recovery ROM on Mi Mix 2s, erase the cache, data, and system.
Step 6 – To erase data, go to Wipe -> Advanced Wipe, then swipe to wipe Dalvik/ART cache, cache, and Data.
Note – Make sure you don’t choose Internal storage.
Step 7 – Now, to install the custom ROM, select Recovery ROM.zip from the Install -> Install Zip menu.
Step 8 – Reboot the device after the installation has been completed successfully.
