How To Install Stock Firmware On Poco M3
Prerequisite:
- Battery charge: Charge your device to at least 70%
- Correct firmware file: You need to download a suitable firmware file for your device’s model.
- Xiaomi Flash Tool: Download the Xiaomi flash tool from the above link.
- Drivers: Install proper USB drivers.
Steps To Install The Fastboot ROM for Poco M3:
Step 1 – Download the flash file from the above links and extract the zip files on your computer.
Step 2 – On your PC, install the given USB Driver and Xiaomi Flash Tool; if you have already done so, go to the next step.
Step 3 – Now, to boot into the fastboot mode, turn off your phone and press the Volume down and power button together for some time.
Step 4 – Connect your Poco M3 smartphone to your PC using a USB cable.
Step 5 – Go to the Xiaomi Flash Tool and open it.
Step 6: – Select the extracted Firmware Folder using the Select Button.
Step 7 – To recognize your Xiaomi smartphone, use the Refresh button.
Step 8 – To begin the flashing process, click the Flash button.
Step 9 – Please be patient, as the flashing procedure will most likely take some time, and your device may reboot a few times.
Step 10 – When the flashing procedure is over, the Success Notification will appear in the Xiaomi Flash Tool, and then after completion, you can use the device.
Steps To Install Recovery Rom Poco M3:
Step 1 – First, download and transfer the ROM zip to your Poco M3’s internal storage.
Step 2 – Press the Power button and Volume down button together to boot into TWRP recovery.
Step 3 – Now, Swipe to Allow Modifications after rebooting your phone into TWRP Recovery. (If you’re opening the recovery for the first time)
Step 4 – Using TWRP, create a full backup of the stock or custom ROM to restore the system if anything goes wrong during the ROM flashing.
Step 5 – Before installing the Recovery ROM on Poco M3, erase the cache, data, and system.
Step 6 – To erase data, go to Wipe -> Advanced Wipe, then swipe to wipe Dalvik/ART cache, cache, and Data.
Note – Make sure you don’t choose Internal storage.
Step 7 – Now, to install the custom ROM, select Recovery ROM.zip from the Install -> Install Zip menu.
Step 8 – Reboot the device after the installation has been completed successfully.
